Palm Canyon Epic Day Trip
December 14, 2019
One of Southern California’s classics, the Palm Canyon Epic, is also one the toughest at 28 miles of a desert landscape and 2000’ of elevation gain and brutal with its chunky technical rock gardens with exposure, cactus at every turn and deep sand to test your soul. But it’s also one of the most rewarding if you like fun, technical, and 6000’ of descending on this point to point ride that starts at 4500’ of elevation and ends in Palm Springs. The route is several trails from Palm Canyon, Indian Potrero, Dry Wash, Hahn Buena Vista and will challenge your fitness.
thinkMTB will organized a shuttle ride. There will be a per person charge. We will find a convenient spot for the shuttle to pick us all up to start our day and pick us up near the end point to bring us back to our vehicles.
*Link to trail info below. MTB Project link does not reflect the entire 28 miles required to complete the ride.
